Character or Player (and sometimes Hero for the purpose of this wiki) refers to the on-screen avatar who is chosen at the start of the game. There are 4 different types of characters - but, only three of them are available at the beginning of the game, with the Ancient Hero being unlocked at a certain point. [Clarify]
