Shield is the first shield item available in 3D Dot Game Heroes. It is given to the Hero by King Tezro in the beginning of the game.

This is the weakest shield in the entire game and as such it is recommended to purchase an Iron Shield for 100G as soon as possible from a Weapon Shop, such as the one found in Raejack Village, just east of the Castle.
